서비스 이용약관
제1조 (목적)
본 약관은 김주한(이하 "회사")이 운영하는 Neoul(이하 "서비스")의 이용과 관련하여 회사와 이용자 간의 권리, 의무 및 책임사항을 규정함을 목적으로 합니다.
제2조 (정의)
① "서비스"란 Neoul 앱을 통해 제공되는 릴레이 소설 창작 및 열람 서비스를 말합니다.
② "이용자"란 본 약관에 동의하고 서비스를 이용하는 자를 말합니다.
③ "콘텐츠"란 이용자가 서비스 내에서 작성·등록한 소설, 챕터, 댓글 등 일체의 창작물을 말합니다.
④ "포인트"란 서비스 내에서 특정 기능 이용 시 사용되는 가상의 재화를 말합니다.
제3조 (약관의 효력 및 변경)
① 본 약관은 서비스 내에 게시하여 공지합니다.
② 회사는 관련 법령을 위반하지 않는 범위에서 약관을 개정할 수 있으며, 변경 시 7일 전 공지합니다.
제4조 (서비스 이용)
① 서비스는 Apple ID를 통한 소셜 로그인으로 이용할 수 있습니다.
② 이용자는 릴레이 소설을 개설하거나, 다른 이용자의 소설에 챕터를 이어 작성할 수 있습니다.
③ 소설 개설 및 일부 기능은 포인트를 소모할 수 있습니다.
제5조 (포인트)
① 포인트는 업보트 획득, 광고 시청 등을 통해 적립됩니다.
② 포인트는 현금으로 환전되지 않으며, 서비스 내 기능 이용에만 사용됩니다.
③ 회원 탈퇴 시 보유 포인트는 즉시 소멸됩니다.
제6조 (콘텐츠 저작권)
① 이용자가 작성한 콘텐츠의 저작권은 해당 이용자에게 귀속됩니다.
② 이용자는 회사에게 서비스 운영·홍보 목적으로 콘텐츠를 사용할 수 있는 비독점적 라이선스를 부여합니다.
③ 이용자는 타인의 저작권을 침해하는 콘텐츠를 게시할 수 없습니다.
제7조 (금지 행위)
이용자는 다음 각 호의 행위를 해서는 안 됩니다.
① 타인을 비방하거나 명예를 훼손하는 콘텐츠 게시
② 음란, 폭력적이거나 혐오스러운 콘텐츠 게시
③ 서비스의 정상적인 운영을 방해하는 행위
④ 타인의 개인정보 무단 수집 또는 악용
⑤ 관련 법령을 위반하는 일체의 행위
제8조 (서비스 중단 및 변경)
① 회사는 서비스 운영상 필요한 경우 서비스의 전부 또는 일부를 변경하거나 중단할 수 있습니다.
② 서비스 중단 시 사전에 공지하며, 불가피한 경우 사후 공지할 수 있습니다.
제9조 (회원 탈퇴)
이용자는 언제든지 서비스 내 설정 메뉴를 통해 탈퇴를 요청할 수 있으며, 탈퇴 즉시 계정 및 관련 데이터가 삭제됩니다.
제10조 (면책 조항)
① 회사는 천재지변, 서비스 장애 등 불가항력으로 인한 손해에 대해 책임지지 않습니다.
② 이용자 간의 분쟁에 대해 회사는 개입 의무가 없습니다.
제11조 (준거법 및 관할)
본 약관은 대한민국 법률을 준거법으로 하며, 분쟁 발생 시 관할 법원은 민사소송법에 따릅니다.

개인정보 처리방침
김주한(이하 "회사")은 Neoul 서비스(이하 "서비스") 운영과 관련하여 이용자의 개인정보를 소중히 여기며, 「개인정보 보호법」 및 「정보통신망 이용촉진 및 정보보호 등에 관한 법률」을 준수합니다.
제1조 (수집하는 개인정보 항목)
회사는 서비스 제공을 위해 다음과 같은 개인정보를 수집합니다.
- 필수: 이메일 주소(Apple ID 연동 시), 닉네임
- 자동 수집: 서비스 이용 기록, 접속 로그, 기기 정보(푸시 알림 토큰)
- 서비스 생성 정보: 작성 소설 및 챕터, 댓글, 포인트 내역
제2조 (개인정보 수집 및 이용 목적)
① 회원 가입 및 본인 확인
② 서비스 제공 (릴레이 소설 창작, 열람, 포인트 운영)
③ 푸시 알림 발송 (새 챕터, 독촉 알림 등)
④ 서비스 개선 및 통계 분석
⑤ 불량 이용자 제재 및 분쟁 처리
제3조 (개인정보 보유 및 이용 기간)
① 회원 탈퇴 시 즉시 파기합니다.
② 단, 관련 법령에 의해 보존이 필요한 경우 해당 기간 동안 보관합니다.
- 소비자 불만 또는 분쟁 처리: 3년 (전자상거래법)
- 접속 로그: 3개월 (통신비밀보호법)
제4조 (개인정보 제3자 제공)
회사는 이용자의 개인정보를 원칙적으로 제3자에게 제공하지 않습니다. 단, 다음의 경우는 예외로 합니다.
① 이용자가 사전에 동의한 경우
② 법령의 규정에 따라 수사기관의 요청이 있는 경우
제5조 (개인정보 처리 위탁)
회사는 서비스 운영을 위해 다음과 같이 개인정보 처리를 위탁합니다.
- 수탁업체: Supabase Inc. (데이터베이스 및 인증 서비스)
- 수탁업체: Apple Inc. (소셜 로그인 인증)
- 수탁업체: Google LLC (Firebase 푸시 알림)
- 수탁업체: Google LLC (Gemini AI — 캐릭터 대화 응답 생성)
제6조 (인공지능 서비스 이용)
① 회사는 소설 캐릭터와의 대화 기능(이하 "영상통화") 제공을 위해 사용자의 대화 메시지를 Google LLC가 제공하는 생성형 AI 서비스(Google Gemini API)로 전송합니다.
② 전송되는 데이터: 대화 메시지 내용, 소설 제목 및 캐릭터 정보
③ 전송 목적: AI 기반 캐릭터 응답 생성
④ Google의 개인정보처리방침: https://policies.google.com/privacy
⑤ 전송된 대화 내역은 회사 서버에 최근 3일치만 보관되며, 이후 자동 삭제됩니다.
⑥ 사용자는 영상통화 기능을 사용하지 않음으로써 데이터 전송을 거부할 수 있습니다.
제7조 (이용자 권리)
이용자는 언제든지 다음의 권리를 행사할 수 있습니다.
① 개인정보 열람 요청
② 개인정보 정정·삭제 요청
③ 개인정보 처리 정지 요청
④ 서비스 내 설정 > 회원 탈퇴를 통한 개인정보 전체 삭제

제9조 (개인정보 파기 절차 및 방법)
이용자의 개인정보는 수집 목적이 달성된 후 즉시 파기합니다. 전자적 형태의 정보는 복구 불가능한 방법으로 영구 삭제합니다.
제10조 (쿠키 및 자동 수집 장치)
서비스는 푸시 알림을 위해 기기 토큰을 수집합니다. 이용자는 기기 설정에서 알림 권한을 거부할 수 있으며, 이 경우 푸시 알림 서비스가 제한됩니다.
제11조 (개인정보 처리방침 변경)
본 방침은 시행일로부터 적용되며, 변경 시 앱 내 공지를 통해 안내합니다.

Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
These Terms of Service govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Neoul (hereinafter "Service"), operated by Neoul (hereinafter "Company"), and its users.
Article 2 (Definitions)
① "Service" refers to the relay novel creation and reading service provided through the Neoul app.
② "User" refers to any person who agrees to these Terms and uses the Service.
③ "Content" refers to all creative works posted by users within the Service, including novels, chapters, and comments.
④ "Points" refers to the virtual currency used within the Service to access certain features.
Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
① These Terms are posted and announced within the Service.
② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope permitted by applicable law, with 7 days prior notice.
Article 4 (Use of Service)
① The Service is accessible via social login through Apple ID.
② Users may create relay novels or contribute chapters to other users' novels.
③ Creating a novel and using certain features may consume Points.
Article 5 (Points)
① Points are earned through upvotes, watching advertisements, and other methods.
② Points cannot be exchanged for cash and are only used for in-Service features.
③ Upon account deletion, all held Points are immediately forfeited.
Article 6 (Content Copyright)
① Copyright of content created by users belongs to the respective user.
② Users grant the Company a non-exclusive license to use their content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service.
③ Users may not post content that infringes upon the copyrights of others.
Article 7 (Prohibited Activities)
Users must not engage in the following:
① Posting content that defames or damages the reputation of others
② Posting obscene, violent, or hateful content
③ Disrupting the normal operation of the Service
④ Unauthorized collection or misuse of others' personal information
⑤ Any activity that violates applicable laws and regulations
Article 8 (Service Suspension and Changes)
① The Company may modify or suspend all or part of the Service when necessary for operational reasons.
② Prior notice will be given before suspension; in unavoidable cases, notice may be given afterward.
Article 9 (Account Deletion)
Users may request account deletion at any time through the Settings menu within the Service. Upon deletion, the account and all related data are immediately removed.
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
① The Company is not liable for damages caused by force majeure events such as natural disasters or service outages.
② The Company has no obligation to intervene in disputes between users.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act.

Privacy Policy
Neoul (hereinafter "Company") values the personal information of its users in connection with the operation of the Neoul service (hereinafter "Service") and complies with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
Article 1 (Personal Information Collected)
The Company collects the following personal information to provide the Service:
- Required: Email address (when linked via Apple ID), nickname
- Automatically collected: Service usage records, access logs, device information (push notification token)
- Service-generated: Written novels and chapters, comments, Points history
Article 2 (Purpose of Collection and Use)
① Member registration and identity verification
② Service provision (relay novel creation, reading, Points management)
③ Push notifications (new chapters, writing reminders, etc.)
④ Service improvement and statistical analysis
⑤ Handling of policy violations and dispute resolution
Article 3 (Retention and Use Period)
① Personal information is destroyed immediately upon account deletion.
② However, if retention is required by applicable law, it will be kept for the relevant period:
- Consumer complaints or dispute records: 3 years (E-Commerce Act)
- Access logs: 3 months (Communications Secrets Protection Act)
Article 4 (Provision to Third Parties)
The Company does not, in principle, provide users' personal information to third parties. Exceptions include:
① When the user has given prior consent
② When required by law enforcement pursuant to applicable regulations
Article 5 (Entrustment of Personal Information Processing)
The Company entrusts personal information processing as follows for service operation:
- Supabase Inc. (database and authentication services)
- Apple Inc. (social login authentication)
- Google LLC (Firebase push notifications)
- Google LLC (Gemini AI — character conversation response generation)
Article 6 (AI Service Use)
① The Company transmits users' conversation messages to Google LLC's generative AI service (Google Gemini API) to provide the character conversation feature (hereinafter "Video Call").
② Data transmitted: conversation message content, novel title, and character information
③ Purpose of transmission: AI-based character response generation
④ Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
⑤ Transmitted conversation history is retained on the Company's servers for up to 3 days and is automatically deleted thereafter.
⑥ Users may refuse data transmission by not using the Video Call feature.
Article 7 (User Rights)
Users may exercise the following rights at any time:
① Request to access personal information
② Request to correct or delete personal information
③ Request to suspend processing of personal information
④ Full deletion of personal information via Settings > Delete Account within the Service

Article 9 (Destruction Procedure and Method)
Personal information is destroyed immediately after the purpose of collection is achieved. Electronically stored information is permanently deleted using methods that prevent recovery.
Article 10 (Cookies and Automatic Collection)
The Service collects device tokens for push notifications. Users may deny notification permissions in device settings, in which case push notification services will be restricted.
Article 11 (Changes to Privacy Policy)
This policy applies from the effective date and will be announced through in-app notices when changed.
